The College is continually developing its library provision to improve the facilites for students and has twelve well-equipped networked computer rooms. These, together with excellent sporting facilities and a new dance and drama studio, mean we have a lot to offer.
Learning Resource Centre

Facilities in the LRC include: audio-visual resources; networked computers for on-line academic research; quiet and silent study areas and an ever-growing selection of academic, text and fiction resources. Our new literature reflects the needs and tastes of students, including prize-winning novels and popular authors.
The LRC has a large selection of stationery for sale at cost price in order to ensure that students are prepared for lessons.
Our resource database is fully searchable and easy to use, helping students to locate the resources they need to complete their studies successfully. Dedicated staff are on hand to assist students with research and general information enquiries.

The College has 12 well-equipped networked computer rooms, many with multi-media and all Internet-connected to ensure that every student of the College has access to ICT resources. In addition, there are computers available for private study in open-access rooms, study areas and the common room.
The College's learning network is reviewed each year, and almost all classrooms are equipped with a computer, data projector, VCR and speakers ensuring a multimedia environment. This year a number will also have an interactive whiteboard or classroom voting system.

Stockton Sixth Form College has an outstanding reputation in sports and team games. The large Sports Hall, well-equipped Sports Science area with exercise and testing facilites, and playing fields, ensure that Stockton continues as a centre of excellence in sports and games. You can take advantage of all the excellent sports facilities, whether you wish to play team games to the highest competitive standard or simply enjoy the opportunity for recreation and exercise or keep-fit.
Team games include Rugby, Football, Hockey, Netball, Badminton and Basketball, and are played from local to national level. College teams have a fine local and regional reputation, and we are especially proud of our three football teams, girls' and boys' hockey and our rugby team, all of which are among the best in their respective 16-19 competitions in England.
Facilities for Hire
The college sports hall is available for hire for 5-a-side or similar use at various times during the week.
Other college facilities may also be available for hire on request.

Drama and Dance
Our specialist dance and drama studio opened in September 2008 and as you would expect from a new build, it is very modern, fully equipped and has all the latest facilities!
