Our formal disability statement tells you more about how we can help you overcome any disability or difficulty, to make your time at the college a successful one.

New laws from December 2006 place a duty on public bodies to promote disability equality. This new legal duty means that we need to look actively at ways of ensuring that disabled people are treated equally.
We have prepared our College's Disability Equality Scheme. Current staff and students with disabilities have participated by giving us feedback on their experiences at College. We would still value contributions from parents, from students who are considering applying to join the College next year, and from previous students.
The whole point of the Disability Equality Scheme is to put in place practical improvements for disabled people to close the gaps in opportunity they may face.
