As part of the Islamic tradition of Zakat, which is a tradition of sharing, giving and performing works of charity, Asian students at the College once again organised activities to raise funds, this time for UNICEF's East Africa Children's Crisis Appeal.
More than eight million people are on the brink of starvation in the Horn of Africa due to flooding, crop failure and loss of livestock. Of those affected, 1.6 million are children under the age of five.
In addition to a range of sponsored activities the students organised a Bollywood fashion show and the combined total of funds raised was a massive £849.51.
