The Sport Relief Mile (March 19th 2010)
Friday 19th March 2010 saw about 100 people participate in the Sport Relief Mile. Many came in their football ‘Shirt of Hurt’ as well as Fancy Dress and some casual walkers too. Abbey Hill School took part also and were accompanied by SSFC volunteers. Everton fan Geoff ‘Torres’ Hewitson came home to cross the line first in his Liverpool ‘Shirt of Hurt’. £261.65 was raised through bucket collections. Many thanks to all who took part or supported in any way.
