GCSE Sociology
This may be a new subject to you but this is not a disadvantage as the course is taught from ‘scratch’. An interest in the society in which you live is the most important key to success.

You will study areas of society such as protest and social movements; poverty; work; social divisions; the family and education. We will encourage you to be actively involved in both small group activities and class discussions and also to collect information from the media, internet and other sources, but you will also be given a set of printed notes. The coursework consists of a piece of your own research on an area in which you are particularly interested.
