What does the course consist of?
- Four units, two in the first year and two in the second year
- The Accounting Information System – how to construct an accurate set of financial records
- Financial Accounting – how to interpret the published accounts
- Introduction to Management Accounting – using the internal accounts in decision making
What are the entry requirements?
- At least 5 A* to C passes at GCSE
- GCSE Mathematics at Grade C or better is strongly recommended
How is the course assessed?
- The course is assessed through modular examinations in January and June each year. Each of the four examination papers counts for 25% of the total A-level mark
- Examinations can be re-taken at the appropriate time.
