The A-level is a two-year course and is taken alongside A-level Mathematics
The AS-level is a one-year course and may be taken alongside AS-level Mathematics or A-level Mathematics in the second year.

What does the course consist of?
- Three units for AS-level Further Mathematics
- Six units for A-level Further Mathematics
- The units are in Further Pure, Mechanics, Statistics and Decision Maths
What are the Entry Requirements?
- At least 5 A* to C passes at GCSE
- Grade A or A* in GCSE Mathematics
How is the course assessed?
- In each year, one external exam is taken in January and two are taken at the end of the year in May/June
What might this course lead to?
- Higher Education to study Mathematics or any subject with a high maths content such as Accountancy, Chemistry, Engineering, Finance, Physics, Psychology, Statistics etc.
