student advice and support worker

The college student advice and support worker is usually in college every Wednesday morning between 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Part of this is a 'drop in' session, so students do not necessarily need to make an appointment to see her.

Some students during their course of study experience personal or domestic difficulties and may wish to talk about these. Tutors are available to offer support. However, some students may wish to talk to a counsellor. Our student advice and support worker is a professional counsellor employed by the college to support students on a confidential basis.
