3G Pitch

In partnership with Stockton Town Football Club, we are delighted to showcase our new 3G pitch and stadium development, located on the site of the college’s former sports playing field.

The impressive facility boasts an all-weather 3G artificial grass pitch, dug outs, floodlighting, turnstiles and spectator stand.

The development has been funded by the Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund (PL/FA:FF), Sport England and the Premier League through the Football Stadium Improvement Fund (FSIF). The facility will be fully complete in July with the addition of new changing blocks, toilets, modern refreshments room and a seated spectator stand.

The use of the pitch will be shared between our two organisations, with additional time set aside for community use. College students will have access to the pitch for sports lessons, enrichment, volunteering opportunities and team sports whilst the club will be able to provide the best facilities for all of its teams and also be able to expand the provision of its popular sporting initiatives, including:

•  ‘Just Play’ sessions every Monday and Friday from 3.30-5pm for the 11-18 age range
•  Girls only coaching sessions every Tuesday from 5-6pm with the hope the Club can start to run representative girls teams
•  ‘First Kickz’ sessions on Tuesdays from 4-5pm for youngsters wanting have their first experience of football
•  Saturday Morning Club for local youngsters aged 7-12 years, where any child can turn up and take part in organised coaching sessions (boys and girls of any ability).
