College Games triumph

Students at Stockton Sixth Form College have been crowned champions in more than one event at the Tees Valley Sport College Games.

The Games, held at Middlesbrough Sports Village, saw colleges from across the Tees Valley compete in sports from Hockey to Football and Rugby to Archery.

Stockton Sixth Form College were named winners in both the Mixed Touch Rugby and Boys 5-a-side categories. The college’s Girls Football team also came third overall.

Kris George, Teacher of Sport at Stockton Sixth Form College, said: “We are exceptionally proud of all students who competed in the College Games. As individuals and teams they showcased just why we have such a high performing Sport department at the college.

“Each student represented the college brilliantly and it is absolutely fantastic to bring two more trophies back home.”
