Stockton Sixth Form College is able to provide programmes of study for 14 – 16 year olds, who, for a variety of reasons, find attending school difficult. We offer a safe, secure and encouraging environment in which young people can develop the motivation and the skills they need to succeed and progress in life, work and further study.
Provision for Electively Home Educated (EHE) Students
Stockton Sixth Form will provide a programme specifically for EHE students. This programme will consist of GCSEs in English Language, Maths and Science, together with pastoral tutorial support. The programme will be delivered over 3 days a week. It is anticipated that students will attend all sessions but there is the possibility that this programme can be adapted, depending on individual needs.
Bespoke Individualised Packages
Stockton Sixth Form College is also able to provide individual bespoke programmes of learning, based around students’ individual needs. These programmes are available for both EHE students and for other 14 – 16 year olds, still on school roll but who find aspects of school life difficult. Programmes can include GCSEs in English Language and Maths, as well as other level 2 and, if appropriate, level 3 courses in a range of vocational or academic subjects. Students with bespoke packages will study alongside post- 16 students.
If you work in a school or are the parent/carer of a EHE young person and would like to find out more about the programmes available and the support we can offer, please contact Sharon Moore, Inclusion Coordinator, on 01642 612611 or email@example.com.Apply Now
