What does the course consist of?

This exciting and lively course incorporates the practical study of set texts from all eras of theatre as well as investigating the theory and practice of acting, directing and staging live theatre.

It offers you the chance to devise your own productions and to analyse and review professional performances. You will also look at the theory and practice of key theatre practitioners who have had a significant influence on the modern stage as we know it, such as Stanislavski, Artaud and Brecht.

How is this course assessed?

  • By written exams and practical performances and coursework.
