Six students from Prior Pursglove and Stockton Sixth Form College have been offered places at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, after beating thousands of applicants to receive conditional offers.
The Sixth Formers impressed with their applications and at interview and now have offers to study a number of different courses at the two of the most elite Universities in the world.
Successful Cambridge applicants include Prior Pursglove students Amy Hornsby a former Outwood Bydales pupil who received an offer to study Law and Jordan Cooper a former Huntcliff School pupil who received an offer to study Psychological and Behavioural Sciences.
Stockton Sixth Form College student Ben Thomas, a former Our Lady and St Bede pupil, has secured a conditional offer at Cambridge to study in his chosen field of Computer Science.
Successful Oxford applicants include Prior Pursglove College students Caitlin Donoghue, the former Outwood Bydales pupil has received an offer to study English Language and Literature and Aaliyah Wooton a former Outwood Bydales pupil, who received an offer to study Law.
The college is not only extremely proud of the bumper crop of Oxbridge offers received this year, but equally of all of their students who are receiving offers from universities around the country, as well as apprenticeships and employment.
