Schools’ Physicist of the Year 2017

A prestigious award for an outstanding contribution to Physics has been presented to Stockton Sixth Form College student Euan Lodge.

Euan, who received the Schools Physicist of the Year award by The Ogden Trust, was chosen because of his constant enthusiasm in Physics.

The Ogden Trust, founded in 1999, aims to encourage the teaching and learning of Science and, particularly, Physics, across the country. The ‘Schools Physicist of the Year’ accolade is offered each year by the Trust to top-performing students.

Euan was nominated by Stockton Sixth Form College’s Faculty Manager, Jane Britton. In the nomination Jane said: “Euan has shown consistently high enthusiasm, commitment and achievement in Physics throughout Year 12. His mature approach to his studies makes him stand out amongst his peers and he deserves every success.”
