Management Information Systems Developer, 37 hours per week, whole year, permanent contract

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with appropriate database systems development experience to work at both our Guisborough and Stockton campuses to be involved in the analysis, production of reports and systems to deliver information that supports the strategic direction of the College.

The successful applicant will have good knowledge of database systems (SQL, Report writing, web-based technologies), preferably Capita’s Unit-e student record system and college performance data analysis. They will also require excellent organisational, analytical and IT and technical skills including excellent attention to detail.

This is a cross site role, and as such the postholder will be expected to work across both the Prior Pursglove College and Stockton Sixth Form College sites.

Salary:                         SFCA Support Staff Pay Spine, Points 13 – 16 (£24,584 – £26,947 per annum)

Learning Support Assistant, 30 hours per week, term time only, fixed term to 31st August 2023

We are seeking to increase our team of Learning Support Assistants.   You will be primarily working with students aged 16-18 with an EHCP or High Needs funding support studying subjects at Level 2 or 3 in the college.  This will entail both in class and independent study support.

You must be able to work on a one to one or group basis with our students and have an understanding of the needs of, and empathy for, students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.  You will have experience of delivering literacy and numeracy support and will hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.

Normal working hours are between 8.45 am and 3.30 pm each day, but a flexible approach to scheduling work time is essential as evening work may be required depending on internal meeting times, student needs and the requirements of their course timetables.

Salary:                         SFCA Support Staff Pay Spine, Points 5-8 (£19,633 – £21,179 pro rata)

Actual Starting Salary at Scale Point 5: £13,573.16 per annum

Learning Support Assistant – Stockton Job Description

Estates and Workshop Technician, 37 hours per week, whole year, permanent contract

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced Estates and Workshop Technician.  This is a dual role, providing a high level of support to both the Estates team in the effective repair, maintenance and improvement of the college premises and also the curriculum teams of Arts, Construction and Engineering by providing technician support within the workshops.

You will be joining an established, and friendly, team working at well maintained educational estates. The work is varied and interesting and involves both working independently, and working as part of a team.

Having experience of dealing with equipment such as a centre lathe, milling machine and laser cutter would be an advantage, although training will be provided to the right candidate.

In order to fulfil the responsibilities of this role your working time will be divided between the Stockton and Guisborough centres of Prior Pursglove and Stockton Sixth Form College and it is expected that the majority of your annual leave entitlement will be taken during the college holiday period.  Occasional working at other sites falling under the remit of the Multi Academy Trust may also be required.

We are looking for people to join our team of Exam Invigilators in providing assistance in the day-to-day operation and administration of exams at either the Prior Pursglove or Stockton campus.  This is seasonal work, with the majority of exams taking place during May and June each year.
