Learning Support Assistant, 30 hours per week, term time only, fixed term to 31st August 2023

We are seeking to increase our team of Learning Support Assistants.   You will be primarily working with students aged 16-18 with an EHCP or High Needs funding support studying subjects at Level 2 or 3 in the college.  This will entail both in class and independent study support.

You must be able to work on a one to one or group basis with our students and have an understanding of the needs of, and empathy for, students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.  You will have experience of delivering literacy and numeracy support and will hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.

Normal working hours are between 8.45 am and 3.30 pm each day, but a flexible approach to scheduling work time is essential as evening work may be required depending on internal meeting times, student needs and the requirements of their course timetables.

Salary:                         SFCA Support Staff Pay Spine, Points 6-9 (£21,391 – £22,695 pro rata)

Actual Starting Salary at Scale Point 6: £14,835.11 per annum

Exam Invigilators, casual contracts

We are looking for people to join our team of Exam Invigilators in providing assistance in the day-to-day operation and administration of exams at either the Prior Pursglove or Stockton campus.  This is seasonal work, with the majority of exams taking place during May and June each year.
