Stockton Sixth Form College is fully dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Michelle Sugden, the Deputy Head of Centre, is the named member of the Senior Management Team responsible for Safeguarding, including the Prevent Agenda, which works to protect against radicalisation and terrorism. Mike Mackin, Head of Centre, and Kathrine Finlay, Head of Student Services, make up the College’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead Team.
In addition, all Heads of Department and Deputy Heads of Department are trained to a Level 4 in Safeguarding and assist with safeguarding responsibilities.
