Compliance status

The website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to ‘the non-compliances’ listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Some images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content).  We plan to add text alternatives for all images by September 2026. When we publish new content, we’ll make sure our use of images meets accessibility standards.
  • Some prerecorded video content requires captions.  This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.2 (Captions Prerecorded).  We plan to add captions to all pre-recorded content by September 2026.  When we publish new content, we’ll make sure our use of pre-recorded content meets the accessibility standards.
  • Captions are currently not available for live audio content.  This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.4 (Captions(Live)).  We plan to add captions for live audio content by September 2026.  When we publish new content, we’ll make sure our use of live audio meets the accessibility standards.
  • Some prerecorded video content Audio description requires Audio Description.  This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description (Prerecorded)).  We plan to add the audio descriptions for prerecorded video content by September 2026.  When we publish new content, we’ll make sure our use of prerecorded video meets the accessibility standards.
  • Some text on the site requires the contrast ratio to be improved.  This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast (minimum)).  We plan to make these adjustments to the site content by September 2026.
  • When we publish new content, we’ll make sure our use of text on the site meets the accessibility standards.
