Aviation Generation brings new cabin crew partner to Stockton Sixth Form College

Aviation Operations students at Stockton Sixth Form College have had their first session with EmPower Flight, a new partner introduced to the college by Aviation Generation.

Aviation Generation has worked with the college since the Aviation Operations course began. It is now working with EmPower Flight to give eligible students the chance to gain a cabin crew attestation (CCA) during or straight after their studies. A CCA is the certificate needed to work as cabin crew on UK registered aircraft. EmPower Flight’s cabin crew training company, EmPower Crew, is approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.

Stockton Sixth Form College is the first Aviation Generation partner college to develop this route.

Cliff Lynch, Cabin Crew Training Manager at EmPower Flight, flew over from Northern Ireland to lead the first session on Friday 23 October.

Dr Noel Dennis, Director of Community and Partnerships at Atomix Educational Trust, who also teaches on the Aviation Operations course, said:

“I’m delighted that our partnership with Aviation Generation is progressing. They’ve been with us since the beginning, and their introduction to EmPower Flight is brilliant. It signals our commitment to developing a future pipeline for the aviation industry, and we’re excited about what the future holds.”
